In today's webinar we will talk about a new biocide product: 3-iodopropinyl butylcarbamate co-crystals (IPBC). The formation of co-crystals allows to associate in the same solid state an active principle and a molecule related to it, in order to obtain a single crystal, more soluble, with greater thermal stability, more stable and more easy to handle than the pure IPBC crystalline form. Due to these properties, the co-crystals can be used alternatively to IPBC, assuring better performances in the manufacturing processes and in the preparation of formulates.
